Biography

Eric B. Hansen (born 12 November 1983) is a Canadian actor and producer. He is best known for his roles on Fear Thy Roommate, Dark Side of the Ring, and Head Like a Hole.


After a handful of background gigs, Hansen made his last stage debut at the Toronto Centre for the Arts, playing Jack Tisdale in Norm Foster's Opening Night. Following about a year of theatre and background work, he signed with his first agent and quickly began booking screen roles. He landed his first lead role in a short film as Zachary Toussaint in PK (2021).


Hansen was a producer and stars in the indie feature Head Like a Hole (2024), written & directed by Stefan MacDonald-Labelle. He plays Sam, a victim of conversion therapy grappling with denial and identity, opposite Steve Kasan and Jeff McDonald. The film is currently enjoying a successful festival run in the U.S., including selections at Panic Fest, Salem Horror Fest, and Boston Underground Film Festival, and secured distribution in both the U.S. and Canada.

Hansen also appeared in a global hero spot for an international U.S. Amazon commercial, amassing widespread exposure on U.S. television and millions of views online.

In 2025, Hansen founded Pinup Build Co. Films, a production company dedicated to bold, genre driven storytelling with an emphasis on indie spirit and cinematic myth-making. The company currently has a slate of projects in development, including One Star, a tech-noir thriller set in the world of influencers and AI, and QUEENPIN, a prestige crime drama based on the life of Canadian bootlegging kingpin Bessie Starkman.
